What is a fusion center?

A fusion center is a multi-jurisdictional law enforcement apparatus which seeks to merge the information gathering and intelligence sharing practices of local, state, and federal law enforcement.

The Ninth Amendment

The federal government undermines it’s constitutional role while subverting federalism and the division of powers by going to local and state government and bribing them with grant money so they may carry out their bidding.

The DOJ Federal Fusion Center Guidelines recommend that non-criminal information be collected and analyzed from the following areas:

Hazardous Materials
Criminal Justice Retail
Real Estate
Emergency Services
Utility/Energy Companies
Public Health Services Social Services
Hospitality and Lodging
Information & Telecom
Military Facilities
DOD Industrial Base

Once your information is stored in a government database there is no way to ensure that will not be misused and abused.

Case in point – in 1993 the Government Account Office performed an audit on the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). At the time it had over 500,000 authorized users. They found that all across the country people were selling information and even using it for political purposes. One user even went so far as to check up on her boyfriend drug deal clients to make sure they weren’t law enforcement agents!

If someone is able to abuse the system, someone will abuse the system.

While many official government references claim the NCIC will not begin collecting facial recognition until 2013, Catherine tells us what she heard at the 2010 Texas Homeland Security Conference that was to the contrary. It’s happening sooner than you think.

What is Intelligence Led Policing?

Intelligence-led policing can best be described as law enforcement officers and agencies working together to collect information, criminal and non-criminal, in order to analyze trends in large-scale activity and individual activity so they may prevent potential crimes and terror attacks from occurring.  Under this new model, in order to prevent potential violent acts from occurring at protests, local law enforcement officials are now being trained to preemptively collect information on protest groups such as the personal data of members, group organization, the basis of their ideology, what laws they hope to change, and their mood.  Many are concerned with the potential “chilling effect” these types of activities will have on peaceful constitutionally protected dissent.

Who is Catherine Bleish?

She started out as a “lefty” – president of the environment club in high school, and an ardent animal rights activist.

This led her to the anti-war movement where she was introduced to to the message of Dr. Ron Paul.

She journeyed all the way through the delegate process and made her way to the RNC where she experienced the deception that is the Republican Party.

She then dug deeper and found her love for hard-core libertarianism!

“Libertarianism is philosophy of non-intervention and non-aggression, meaning if you don’t tread on me, I won’t tread on you, you don’t pass laws that control other people, you only try to protect people from having injustice, or violence, or corruption committed upon them.” – Catherine Bleish

The essence of government is violence.

Our government operates not on the rule of law, but the rule of force. Meaning, if you don’t live by their laws, they are going to take you away at the threat of a gun, and if you don’t cooperate they are going to murder you and take your property.

What is the Southern Poverty Law Center?

From their website: “The Southern Poverty Law Center is a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry, and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of society.”

Unfortunately they do so much more than that. They also work to marginalize and demonize peaceful activists and constitutionalists by describing them as potential violent threats to America. Much like the fusion centers do! Here’s what they had to say about little sweet, innocent, and peaceful Catherine Bleish in their Summer 2010 “Intelligence Report” Magazine.

Catherine Bleish, one of the few female leaders in the resurgent Patriot movement, runs the Liberty Restoration Project and has become a popular speaker on the Patriot circuit.
“It’s quite frightening the amount of power and authority that our government has assumed for themselves,” Bleish told the Intelligence Report. “They say, ‘We are the Supreme Being, we have the guns, we are going to do it our way.'”

Bleish, of St. Louis, Mo., speaks passionately about the anger that’s fueling the movement. “It’s so hard to start a small business, and once you start one, it’s hard to keep it open. My parents are being audited for the past six years, while [Treasury Secretary] Tim Geithner, who doesn’t pay his taxes, now gets to oversee the IRS,” she said. “People are losing their homes. People are losing their jobs. People are frustrated and looking for answers.”

Like many other Patriot leaders, Bleish charges that the government is behind these economic woes. “The dollar has been systematically destroyed. And that is not the American people’s doing. That is the central bank. The central bankers, what they do is they go from country to country, and they destroy currency and bring themselves lots of power and lots of wealth.”

Though Bleish said no one in the movement with whom she’s worked wants violence, she added that people will be driven to defend themselves if the country continues on its current course. “The actions of our federal government [are] going to create violence. And my goal … is to try and stop it peacefully before it gets to that point. I’m trying to follow the channels that are still afforded to me to talk to people face to face. But they’re going to try and take away my ability to communicate with people of a like mind-set.”

Bleish has taken part in key Patriot events, attending the seminal May 2009 Jekyll Island meeting that helped lay the groundwork for the resurgence of the movement. She also spoke at the Freedom 21 conference in Oklahoma City last August. And she was the main organizer for the Midwest Liberty Fest in Illinois last October.

But it’s not all thankless work: A glam shot of Bleish was featured in the 2009-2010 Ladies of Liberty Alliance calendar. “Many women involved in the liberty movement have experienced the frustrating feeling of isolation when they look around and realize they are just a needle of estrogen in a haystack of testosterone,” she wrote last August. “The Ladies of Liberty Alliance is a brand new organization working to end that feeling of isolation forever!”

What is Operation Defuse?

In order to combat the marginalization efforts and the privacy and civil liberties abuses emanating form the fusion center apparatus, Bleish and Bush teamed up to form Operation Defuse.

Mission: Empower the public so they may better understand the police/surveillance state by educating them about fusion centers and the role they play in both militarizing and nationalizing our police forces.
Vision: A harmonious relationship between law enforcement and the people that promotes peace while respecting liberty.

Their efforts through Operation Defuse were featured on Jesse Ventura’s Conspiracy Theory Show and were later deemed to be too extreme and pulled by Time Warner due to pressure from Congressman Cohen and reportedly the Department of Homeland Security and the Anti-Defamation League. As of late their are confirmed reports surfacing that the show is not being scrubbed from people’s home DVRs!!!!

What is the MIAC Report?

Missouri Information Analysis Center report labeling supporters of Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr and those who are against the Real ID Act, North American Integration, and Illegal Immigration might be potential violent radical militia threats.

During the Council Meeting on January 13th, the council will vote to give the pulic safety commision the aurhotiry to choose the “community advocate” to sit on the ARIC Privacy Policy Advisory Committee which was created in large paret due to the efforts of TAG and the ACLU.

Show up on the 13th at City Hall to call for the placement of a TAG activist on the committee.

TAG is also working with the ACLU to pass a bill during the 2011 Texas Legislative Session prohibiting fusion centers in Texas from collecting non-criminal information concerning an individual or organizations political, religious, or social views.

A brief discussion on what it means to be anti-government, the prospects of consensual government, and the realities of state monopoly violence

Fusion Centers tend to target those individuals or groups who are in opposition to the federal monopoly on coercion. In other words they target individuals who choose to live according to their own free will and seek to not longer participate in or be a part of their state sanctioned violence. Those who seek to live freely.

What is it to be anti-government?

Since the essence of the state is coercion, than to be anti-state is to be anti-coercion.

Is this why those who respect the Non Aggression Principle to the point of non-cooperation and those who peacefully act against government violence are targeted by the establishment for marginalization, re-education, and sometimes extermination?

Is Catherine Bleish “anti-government” as the SPLC would have local law enforcement officials believe?

No, Catherine Bleish is Anti-Coercion, Anti- Force, and Anti-Violence.

She is pro-CONSENSUAL government.

She never signed up and voluntarily agreed to be ruled by the people who are currently serving in government.

“I don’t think its okay for anybody to use force, violence, or coercion to control the behavior of another person and that is what our government does right know, they use fear to control other people.” – Catherine Bleish

Government’s have a tendency to pit Americans against one another so they may fight and bicker amongst themselves as opposed to realizing that the essence of government is violence.

We’ve heard of “opting-out” of body scanners, should individuals be able to “opt-out” of government?

People should have the right to opt out of government if they think it is no longer in their interest.

The Declaration of Independence put’s it rather nicely:

To secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

It is prudent to first seek constitutional remedies and those afforded to you by the existing system. To that end Cat and John participated in the Continental Congress 2009 put on by Bob Schulz (also on the SPLC Patriot List) and the We the People Foundation.

For the past 15+ years, Bob Schulz has been petitioning the federal government for a redress of grievances on a wide a variety of constitutional abuses ranging from illegal undeclared wars to intrusive Patriot Act legislation to the numerous Second Amendment violations occurring across the country. His attempts to obtain redress for his grievances were met with silence. He took his efforts to the courts, all the way up to the Supreme Court who refused to hear his case which was an appeal of the lower courts ruling that affirmed the existence of a “right to petition” but stated that the federal government had no constitutional obligation to respond to that petition. In other words, the Supreme Court confirmed and cemented the cold reality that the United States of America is no longer by the people and for the people. It is now fully under control of the corporations and the money changers.

Many Americans all across the country are taking note of their inability to bring about change in their government and they are simply choosing to live freely. Apparently it can be rather liberating!

Cat gets the last word and calls on you to consider where the fruits of your labor are being utilized and make the choice to take care of your community with those fruits rather than give them to people who use force and violence. By doing this she says we can build a society on based on freedom, love, and respect – not fear, violence, and coercion.
