The TSA and Their Efforts to Bring Naked Body Scanners to Austin
We chat about the efforts of Texans for Accountable Government and Austin activists to prevent the TSA from bringing a naked body scanner to Austin. Activists swarmed a meeting of the Austin Airport Advisory Commission, spoke against intrusive scanners, and the commission ended up voting to recommend that the council join them in opposition to Advanced Imaging Technology and enhanced pat downs at ABIA!

Interview with Dr. David L. Berry M.D., author of Cha-Ching Wisdom
Dr. David Berry is a specialist in high-risk and complicated pregnancies. He established his Austin-based practice in 1997 directly out of training. He has served as the Chief of Obstetrics at Seton Medical Center in Austin and has actively served the pregnant women of central Texas continuously for almost 14 years. He is a graduate of Westlake High School, the University of Texas in Austin and completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. His Ob/Gyn residency was in Fort Worth and his subspecialty traning in maternal-fetal medicine occurred at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Politically, Dr. Berry is a traditional fiscal conservative and a Ron and Rand Paul supporter. He is the current Republican Precinct 345 Chairman and has spoken out against governmental interference in cancer research as well as against Obamacare. His father holds an endowed professorship in economics and finance at Texas Tech University. He is a father of four girls, an inventor, entrepreneur, small business owner and a champion for nationalism and self-sufficiency. And now, a new author of Cha-Ching Wisdom, a practical, concise guide to 123 pearls of wisdom for financial success.
We chat about Obamacare and how it will effect patients and doctors, the monopoly tendencies of big pharma and the healthcare industry, and libertarian solutions to the current health care fiasco.
From the book: “When it comes to matters of government, medical care, and home or car repair, you have three options (but you may pick only two): 1) Good, 2) Cheap, and 3) Fast.”
Be sure to tune in to the stimulating interview! We discuss more of Dr. Berry’s “practical universal truths about money” and how to earn, spend, and plan wisely.
